About Wokingham Netball Club

Wokingham Netball Club is a leading club in the Berkshire region.  The club was started in 1970 by Pat Harper, who organised a small group of mums to start playing together, and the Club has now expanded to over 250 senior and junior members.  The club is particularly proud of its reputation for good sportsmanship and fair play.

Players of all levels are welcomed into the Club.  We have teams competing in the Berkshire Premier, Bracknell & District, Maidenhead , Charters and Berkshire Junior Leagues.  We ask for enthusiasm, commitment and a passion for netball.  The Club is run by an elected committee of volunteers who strive to progress the club and keep things running smoothly.  All members are encouraged to volunteer to serve on the committee at our AGM.

Wokingham Netball Club was the first in Berkshire to be awarded a Clubmark.  This is proof of good practise, recognised both by the governing body and Sport England.  We encourage a healthy attitude to winning and losing at every level of the game and the club expects this from all players, officials and parents.  You can read the England Netball Equity Statement below.
