Wokingham Netball Club caters for juniors at all ages.

U8/U9 (Years 3 and 4)

These sessions are a non-competitive introduction to the world of netball, teaching the essential ball skills and coordination to build upon as they progress up through the age groups.

U10 (Year 5)

U10s are given opportunities to put their skills into practice in occasional league and friendly games against other clubs and schools.

U11-U16 (Years 6 to 11)

Wokingham Netball Club has two teams in every age group of the Berkshire Junior Netball League.

We also have two teams of U15/U16 players entering into the Leagues4U in Sandhurst.

In addition to this, our U16 Reds Squad is entered into the Bracknell League as Wokingham Warriors and is currently in Division 2.

We also enter tournaments as and when they are available.  We regularly take teams to Butlins and PGL for the annual tournaments held in late June/early July.

For details of the league and fixtures, go to www.berkshirenetball.co.uk .

For details of training days and times see our Training page.

Girls who show potential may be put forward to follow the England Performance Pathway and take part in trials for Satellite and County Academies.

Other Information

Girls selected to play in matches will need to purchase a team dress (see our Kit page for information on how to order kit).

Each of our junior teams has a parent team manager who deals with all the administrative side of the teams – this includes collecting forms in, taking the register, checking players’ availability for both training and matches and liaising with parents on other matters that may arise.  This allows our coaches to fully utilise the coaching time available during the sessions.  Players should arrive promptly for training sessions fully prepared.
