About Wokingham Netball Club

Wokingham Netball Club is a leading club in the Berkshire region.  The club started in 1970 as a small group of mums and has now expanded to over 180 senior and junior members. The club is particularly proud of its reputation for good sportsmanship and fair play.

Players of all levels are welcomed into the club, regardless of ability.   We have teams competing in the  South Region,  Berkshire Premier, Bracknell District and Berkshire Junior Leagues.   We only ask for enthusiasm and a passion for netball.  The club is run by an elected committee of volunteers who strive to progress the club and keep things running smoothly.  All members are encouraged to serve on the committee during our AGM.

WNC was the first in Berkshire to be awarded a Clubmark.  This is proof of good practise, recognised both by the governing body and Sport England.  We encourage a healthy attitude to winning and losing at every level of the game and the club expects this from all players, officials and parents.  You can read the England Netball Equity Statement below.
